Swap your Snack and Rethink Your Drink

March is National Nutrition Month and the American Heart Association is launching a challenge for Rhode Islanders to start thinking about simple swaps to eat and drink healthier!

Healthy eating starts with healthy food choices. You don’t need to be a chef to create nutritious, heart-healthy meals your family will love. Learn what to look for at the grocery store, restaurants, your workplace and any eating occasion.

We’ll be sharing some of our favorite healthy tips all month long but we want to hear from you!

SNAP a pic of your SNACK SWAP and post on social media with our hashtag #GetHealthyRI or SNAP a pic your  beverage as you RETHINK YOUR DRINK and choose a healthier option.
